All our cats are rescued, senior and disabled indie cats. All the cats are regularly vaccinated, dewormed, sterilized and are physically fit before being left to play in the cat area.
How many cats will be in the Cat Café Studio?
There will be approximately 15-30 cats and kittens in the Cat Café Area at any given time, all available for adoption.
Can I bring my own cat?
We do not allow visitors’ cats in the cat area due to health and safety concerns. Cats are territorial by nature and bringing your cats into a new premise might stress them. Also, Cat Café Studio is strictly for cats and kittens looking for their forever homes.
Are the cats vaccinated?
Yes, all cats in the cat area have been timely vaccinated.
Are the cats in Cat Café Studio sterilised?
All the cats at Cat Café Studio are sterilised or are sterilised, when they are 4-6 months of age.
Are the cats allowed to go outside?
All the cats in the cat area are rescued senior or disabled, domesticated cats. These cats were rescued from varying degrees of medical distress by our NGO unit, The Feline Foundation (TFF).
Due to circumstances of their rescues they are strictly indoor only. If left outside, they will be unable to survive on the streets as they do not have the survival skills for it. But are healthy and have a lot of love and companionship to offer.
Therefore, they come to Cat Café Studio to get a second shot at happily ever after by getting adopted into loving homes.
What about cat scratches and bites?
We assume that anybody entering the cat area understands the risk of scratches or nips associated with cats and will take steps to minimize such risks (following all our house rules). In case of a scratch or bite, wash it with soap and water.
A first aid kit is available on site, in case you would like a band-aid or antiseptic cream. Please ask any of our CCS Hoomans for it. All of our cats have received their vaccinations in a timely manner and you are at no risk of getting an infection.
What do the cats eat?
Our cats are on a healthy and balanced diet of both wet food and dry food, as recommended by our Veterinarian.
Can we feed the cats?
Our cats are on a strict balanced diet as recommended by our veterinarian, no outside food can be fed. If you visit during their meal times (3:00pm, 6:30pm or 8:30pm) you can help in giving them their food.
We also occasionally spoil them with treats, in case you see a CCS hooman giving the kitties treats, you can always ask for a little to hand the kitties yourself!
But please never feed them any human food that you may have ordered for yourself or any cat food that you have brought on your own accord.

also our adoption process.
But here are compulsory requirements you must meet to adopt a cat from Cat Café Studio

2. If you are renting the place, you will need to have your landlord’s permission
3. You will need to get your windows and balcony meshed, to cat-proof your home
4. Most importantly, you need to be 10000% sure about committing your life to the cat you are adopting for the rest of the kitty’s life.
How does the adoption process at Cat Café work?
The adoption process begins with you visiting the cats a couple of times at Cat Café Studio and spending time with our kitties to see who you best connect with.
Our Adoption Manager will also be present to help you answer any queries and doubts you may have! They know our cats the best and can also give you an insight into what the cat’s likes, dislikes, quirks, and personalities are like.
We welcome first-timer adopters too! The Cat Café Staff will be happy to help you in your quest to find your furever companion!
The next step would involve taking our Adoption Manual for a read. The manual will take you through the basics of cat care and adoption preparation. Once you have gone through the manual and know which cat/s you would like to adopt, we will then conduct an interview and make you fill out a questionnaire. This is not only to make sure that you are serious and committed to adopting a cat but also to clear any questions you may have about being a pet parent.
If all goes well, you sign the official Cat Café Studio Adoption Papers and take home your pet.
Please note: While our adoption process might seem long and tedious, it is a vital drill for you to follow for us to be certain of a long-term commitment to your future furry companion. Cat Café Studio expects you to be extremely certain and serious about adoption to avoid situations that may threaten the well-being of the cat (losing a cat, negligence, abandonment, etc)
Why does the adoption process seem so long?
Most of Cat Café Studio’s cats have been rescued from extreme conditions and have a traumatic history of abuse, injury or abandonment. We want to ensure that they do not go back into any of those situations, so our number one priority is their well-being.
By asking questions, conducting interviews, and taking you through our adoption manual. This adoption process not only helps us determine that you are fit to adopt, but also helps you as an adopter to clear any questions or doubts you may have before adopting!
The process is also to help equip you with all the knowledge you will need to be a great pet-parent.
Are there any fees involved in adopting a cat?
Adoptions from Cat Café Studio are free of cost!
What are the documents required for adopting?
Photocopy of your address proof and a government ID are required.
Do you have Persian/breed cats for adoption?
No. Cat Café Studio is a place for rescued cats from the streets. There is a massive stray population of animals on the streets of India who are looking for loving homes.
Adoptions help save lives! When a stray animal from an organization like ours or an NGO is adopted, you not only provide that animal a second chance at life but also open up a space in these organizations to help another one!
Adoption also helps break the cycle of buying and breeding animals, who most often come from cruel and unethical practices.
Can I still adopt a cat if my work keeps me out of the house for most of the day?
Cats are a really good option as pets for working individuals, they can usually stay by themselves at home for 6-8hours as long as they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and toys/cat furniture to keep them entertained. When you return after a long, hard day at work, they’ll come to you with infinite cuddles and snuggles, automatically making your day better!
If you are often away from home, do consider getting a second cat or adopting in pairs.
It will not only double the love you get, but the cats will also have each other for comfort and companionship while you are away. It’s a win-win!
What is the right age for a cat to be adopted?
of health will be up for adoption.
Are all your cats vaccinated and sterilized?
Yes, all the cats in the café are vaccinated in a timely manner, and are sterilized when they are of age, which is usually around 6 months. Rescued adult cats are sterilized once they are medically fit to go through the procedure.
I can't adopt but want to contribute by sponsoring my favourite cat at Cat Café Studio. What's the process?
